For more than 25 years, Jesús Muñoz Flamenco has been creating original, full-length performances that expand the expressive language of flamenco through a dynamic fusion of movement, music and storytelling. The internationally recognized flamenco company has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with their powerful, emotionally driven performances that honor tradition while pushing the boundaries of flamenco as a contemporary art form.

The company has a distinctive physical, visual and sonic vocabulary that imbues traditional flamenco with Latin and jazz influences, reflecting the cultural diversity and lived experiences of its artists and audiences while maintaining the integrity and emotional depth of flamenco.

Artistic director Muñoz is also known for his retrospective works that revive rarely performed traditional rhythms, connecting flamenco’s historical roots to contemporary narratives of resilience, identity and human perseverance.
