Concert Policies

Concerts are a shared experience and our policies reflect the golden rule…  Don’t behave in a way that hinders the experience for those around you!

Please be in your seat at least 5 minutes prior to curtain time. Your reserved seat is held for you until performance time only. As a courtesy to the audience and to our artists, latecomers will be seated only at appropriate intervals.

We Love children and support their attendance and participation, but due to artists’ requests and as a courtesy to our general audience, concert attendance by children under six may be limited. Please check with our office. When you bring a young child who starts to make noise which could detract for those around you, please take them to the lobby until they have settled down.

Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Become a Concert Association Volunteer. It is exciting to experience a “behind the scenes” view of the performing arts as a volunteer. For more information, please contact the FCA office at (907) 474-8081.

If you are a Member or Subscriber and you cannot make it to a performance, we are happy to give refunds. May we encourage you to turn in your tickets to the FCA office or the box office?  The returned tickets can be acknowledged as a tax-deductible contribution. We can also offer exchanges for another performance and encourage you to share your tickets with friends.

Information for Youth, Senior and Military Discount Tickets.

Youth: 25 years of age and younger, or full time student

Senior: 62 years of age or older

Military: Active Military personnel and immediate family members.

Please turn off your cell phone before the performance. Consider the light bounce to your neighbors and those behind you if you take your phone out for any reason.

Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to the theater. Increasingly we find that people have allergies.

Please wear whatever you are comfortable in. Come as you are… just come!

How do you know if a show is right for your kids, and make sure the whole family has a good time?
Sharing live performances with your whole family can be a joyful and memorable experience!
Here are some tips to make the most of your experience:
1. Do your research. Consider the show length, content, and if the production will have bright lights, strobes, loud sound effects, smoke, mature language, etc. (Haze will be used for this performance. The haze used by FCA is safe and non-toxic. A safety data sheet is available upon request.)
2. Prepare your kids by talking with them about theatre etiquette. Live performances are a shared experience. At FCA our rule of thumb is always: consider those around you! (That goes for adults as well.)
(Don’t chat, kick the seat in front of you, use electronic devices – especially if they block or throw light at those behind you…) If a small child starts to fuss, take them to the lobby until they quiet down.
3. Enjoy the show!
