Irish Dancer and Choreographer
Former lead of Riverdance, co-creator of the award-winning dance company HAMMERSTEP and five-time solo National Irish Dance Champion, Jason is originally from Sydney, Australia. His choreography and creative work has received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Huffington Post and WIRED Magazine. Jason toured with Riverdance as principle lead dancer for over eight years, performing in over forty countries across the world. Jason has produced and starred in international HAMMERSTEP appearances at New York City’s Lincoln Center and London’s West End, to America’s Got Talent. Jason also co-wrote and produced the award-winning short film INDIGO GREY: The Passage. Former resident of the New Museum’s NEW INC and the E.A.T resident artist program at Bell Labs, Jason co-directed the first live production of sci-fi dance-action theatre show INDIGO GREY: The Micah Grey Experiment, premiering with a sell-out run in New Jersey in 2018. Most recently, Jason has been choreographing alongside two-time Tony award winner Bill T. Jones as they develop the new musical Paradise Square. After a critically acclaimed run at California’s Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Paradise Square is currently preparing for a 2021 Broadway opening.
