As a non-profit, your Fairbanks Concert Association is driven by a purpose and a passion for providing service to our community.

This year, with your help:

• We’ve brought the performing arts to 3,800 children through three sold out school performances with two more planned.
• We’ve offered workshops with Te Vaka.
• Sweet Plantain spent a week in local high schools, while the Brasil Guitar Duo worked with Randy Smith Middle School students.
• The Brasil Guitar Duo also performed for Denali Center and the Pioneer Home.
• Te Vaka participated in community events at UAF and Ft. Wainwright.
• The Brasil Guitar Duo and Te Vaka have made four trips down the highway to Denali, Healy and Delta Junction.
• We’ve donated 1000 tickets to social service organizations throughout our season, contributed to at least 70 fundraisers by local non-profits and partnered with dozens of organizations to bring the arts to Interior Alaska.
• With your help, we hope to donate 500 tickets to deploying military families to our family program and more to families who may be in need.
• With the season only half over we’ve already brought the arts into the lives of almost 10,000 members of our community, creating a more vibrant place for us all to call home. We’re on a mission to connect performing artists with as many audiences within our community as possible – and we’re finding new ways to do so every year.

The Education Partnership appeal helps us to achieve our outreach program, connecting artists with under-served audiences; It funds our family program, making it affordable for families to enjoy together and it enables us to donate tickets to families who may be in need and the families of our active military.

At this time, we come to you and ask for your support for our Education Partnership. Our goal is $29,750 and it’s a goal we must reach soon. Recent donations have increased our Educational Partnership funding to $24,314. With your support, we’ll get the $5,436 we need to reach our goal.
