Everyone deserves access to high quality arts experiences and education. No exceptions. To that end we do school shows, residencies and workshops, provide rural and social service outreach and donate tickets.
It’s our ticket donation program that’s on our mind right now because our Family Program is fast approaching. This program offers family friendly prices so we can all go together. We donate to families in need and social service organizations so those kids can also enjoy it. And we donate tickets to our military. This is where you come in. We just launched our first crowd source fundraising campaign making it easy to give and easy to share.
FCA Military Appreciation Project
The Armed Services YMCA has asked us for a donation of 500 tickets to distribute to Eielson AFB, Clear AFS, Ft. Wainwright and Ft. Greely.
Their enthusiasm is understandable. Our family show, Quixotic Fusion offers a compelling combination — an ensemble of artists from various disciplines including aerial acrobatics, dance, fashion, film, music and visual f-x. This inventive group of artists goes beyond the limits of any specific art form, challenging traditional perceptions and creating a total sensory experience for its audience unlike any other, exploring infinite possibilities of movement, sound and multimedia. What family wouldn’t want to attend?
It’s very compelling when you have something that others want so much. We want to make this happen! For a donation this big, we need your help.
The ASYMCA has come to us and we are coming to you. You will make a difference in the lives of those who serve and their families.
Why is this important?
This is an opportunity for us to bring members of our community closer, show them our appreciation of their sacrifice and offer a better look at what lies beyond the gates of their post
or base. Perhaps this will encourage them to become acquainted with all our community holds for them. This is good for us all.
